Does an amazing job. I've developed really bad psoriasis and eczema over the last few years and the water hardness has gotten worse since we bought here. Lately it's been very painful with cracked, dry, and painful areas of skin that look all splotchy, and irritated. We got this installed by a plumber and the system is simple to set up with a brine tank and the filter tank along with the electronic valve. The valve lets you adjust the hardness level, according to the water in your area, and it took a couple of days before I noticed a difference but it is astounding to me what a difference this has made. My skin is now soft, no more splotchy, irritated, or red areas, and is no longer painful. My wife loves what it's done for her hair, making it softer and having to use less shampoo and conditioner. Oh, that's another thing, since the install we're using about a 1/4 of the amount of dishwasher detergent, soap, shampoo, dish soap, etc. because the water is so soft and any type of soap or detergent lathers so well the typical amounts are just overkill. Even if you don't have a skin condition, do yourself a favor and get a home water softening system, it makes a huge difference for such a simple thing that can affect your quality of life.
There were comments in previous reviews that the package did not have the insert and the sleeve (see first 2 figures). My package had everything. I also checked the length of the tubing and it was exactly 20 feet long. All you need is a knife to cut the tubing where you would add the Tee. The instructions on the back of the package was good. Also, I specifically chose this package since the tubing was NFS certified (National Food Safety) and it was clearly marked on the white tubing. This means that the tubing meets the NSF lab standards for food safety. This point was not clear on other packages that were offered on the apecwateroutlet.com website.

Super easy to install and works great with my water filtration system. My system doesn’t require a tank but why out a tank it takes around 10-20 seconds to get the pressure up so the manufacturer recommends a tank to have no pressure delay. Now I have instant pressure.
We installed ice maker kit with the reverse osmosis. Directions were clear and easy to understand. Only took a short time to install.
This is disgusting. Feces covered filters. Selling them as new.
As you can see from the picture, the filter works! This picture shows the initial filter with the APEC RO 75 system. I change this picture every three months to protect the filters after that. This filter is reasonable in cost and helps save the more expensive parts of the system. I recommend this filter and the APEC RO water system.
Happy with this filter system. Installation was straight forward. I connected it before my water softener. Got rid of chlorine taste and smell from my water.
