   They work fine but these should really be included with the filter cartridge since they recommend replacement with every filter change. I rank these high though because after a year on the system, they still looked like they were brand new and could be used again. I still changed them just because they are cheaper than a flooded house and not worth the risk.

   This was a perfect fit for my water system. Just make sure to carefully look at the photo description as this company makes two sizes! it’s very easy to accidentally choose the wrong one if you are not paying attention. All you have to do is match the filter housing to the photo and you will know if it will fit or not. I applied some food-grade silicone to the O-ring to give it a better seal. You can also put some of that silicone on the rubber gaskets on both sides of the carbon filters (stages 2-3). This helps it seal much better. I noticed that if I did not apply the silicone to the carbon filters there is usually a buildup of gunk (??) on the top seal which tells me the seal may not have been performing as it should. I love the APEC Roes-50 water system! It has made a huge difference in our water quality (and we sure don’t miss having to carry all of those heavy 5-gallon water bottles from the store)!

    Same as some other folks, these o rings didn’t properly fit my 1st, 2nd, or 3rd stage filters on my RO system. Still, I’m not seeing any leakage, and my system works fine. Minus 1 star for making me feel like I was going to have to go through the hassle of returning $8 o rings.

    I love the APEC system and have replaced components for years. This order was disappointing because only 2 of the 3 were the correct size. One was noticeably larger. I had to put back in one of the old ones to make it work because it kept leaking. Hopefully APEC will work on their quality control to prevent this from the future.
