when you install one of these RO spouts, it’s like way in the back and at the top, also the screws have to screwed in quite a bit. It’s a task most sockets cannot do as the bottom of the spout is longer then most long socket wrenches. open wrenches dont work well either as it’s way up usually in a corner and you can maneuver the wrench well up there, this makes it easier as its a long wrench. basically you can tighten it pretty tight by hand and it’s good enough, there are holes in the metal on both ends so you can stick say like a phillips in there to turn it like 1/4 more to tighten it more, but i dont think it’s needed. Should work with most RO faucet types, but made for APEC faucets.

Worked as advertised made the job easier. Be aware of the the nut sizes before buying.

Unfortunately, I could not use with the “Lead Free Brass Water Filter Faucet Delle Rosa Commercial Water Filtration Faucet for Under Sink Water Filter System Modern Brushed Nickel Kitchen Bar Sink Drinking Water Faucet” I purchased. It is made of metal and quality looks good. Customer Service was excellent. They recognized that it didn’t fit the faucet I have, reached out to me and refunded my money without any hesitation. I would do business with this company again.

This wrench makes it so much easier to install an RO faucet from underneath the sink.

This is very good for reaching up into that very difficult cavity behind the sink to tighten the mounting nut. It would be nice if the listing said the size of nuts that it fits. Note, however, it will not do anything for you when you want to tighten the fitting for the 1/4″ tubing connection. It seems like the ideal product would consist of two of this style wrench – one like the one you can buy here and a second that fits the water connection nut and is open on one side so you can have the tube inside the wrench while tightening it and then slip the wrench off.

This is a really appropriate tool for RO faucet.

I bought a new, APEC RO-90 system that came with a faucet with the tubing already attached. It went through a marble countertop behind a pretty deep single basin sink. Tried to get up behind it with a a normal wrench and the clearance between the basin wall and the back of the cabinet was too small to tighten the nut effectively. I had already installed the system so this did require some de-installation of the tubing which went into my basement.
As others have mentioned, giving it 4 stars for two reasons: using it requires you to feed the tubing through the wrench so you do need to unhook some of the tubing for a system that is already installed if your faucet becomes loose over time. Additionally, as others have stated, this should be a tool that they include in the purchase of a new system.

This should be included with the water system but understand why it isn’t. People will buy it anyway. I got tired of the faucet always getting lose, and me having to get under the sink to hand tighten it. On a whim I searched apecwateroutlet.com and bam I found this.
Simple to use: turn off the water supply to r/o system; close valve on tank; open faucet to let out excess water; remove line from filter; slide hose through wrench to compression nut; remove compression nut and hose; use other end of tool to tighten the mounting nut; push hose back into faucet; tighten compression nut; push house back into filter output; turn water back on; open valve. 5 min job
