   Got this to replace a 30 year old cold water faucet for drinking water. I was worried that it wouldn’t match up and I’d be running to the hardware store. Well, it didn’t match up, but the thoughtful people at APEC also enclosed what I needed to get the connection put together right with no leaks. Considering that the nearest place to get plumbing parts is 40+ miles away, they get a big thank you from me. As far as the faucet itself, everybody thinks it’s a huge upgrade. The discharge pipe does seem a little wobbly and it’s not nearly as robust as what it replaced, but it doesn’t leak a bit unless you pull on it. Once the valve is shut it can’t leak anything other than what is in the discharge pipe. The design makes it easy to replace the O-ring in the future if it ever does leak. Maybe go a little bigger on the O-ring if you don’t like the way it fits. Valve shuts off the water with no leakage. Overall I’d buy from them again with no reservations.

   Replaced the original faucet that came with the reverse osmosis filter from this same company. The original faucet’s knob wasn’t well designed and kept slipping off. The knob is tightened with a screw, so this one should be sturdy for years to come. This one also came with a washer for above and below the faucet, unlike the original where I had to rig an upper washer to get the faucet tight against the sink.

   After everything on this new faucet was tightened, the reverse osmosis was turned on. I heard zip – no air escape, no trickle of water. Nothing. I turned it off and waited about 15 minutes only to get a trickle. Thought there was something in the faucet (some sort of plug or cover) that had to be removed. No. Just needed to wait about an hour or so for the water to start pouring out full force.

   We replaced an old, cheap water bar faucet. We were worried about how well it would fit (it’s twice as tall) and how easy it would be to install. It installed quickly and easily, and is so much better than the old one! The on/off handle is great, much better than holding down a plastic switch. The water tastes wonderful, no funny tastes at all. I wish we had done this a long time ago!

   This faucet is nice! Great weight, the install was easy, the finish is good. The spout and handle are all metal. It’s just what I needed for my reverse osmosis filter to give a more classic look when we renovated the kitchen and replaced our sink. I’d rate it five stars, but I haven’t had it installed that long. If you need a faucet and you are on the fence, I recommend it!

   This faucet is of much better quality than our old one. Our new sink is made of brushed stainless steel and the finish on this faucet is a perfect match. The valve works smoothly and you do not need to hold it open manually while dispensing water. It comes with everything you need to connect 1/4 inch tubing which is available at any hardware or home improvement box store.

   Love it! Matches faucet contours. Hooked up to a ‘Woder 10k Genll’ water purification under sink, now we have a faucet w/filtered water. Just don’t understand exposed rubber washer/gasket at base, I would think it would be concealed or some type hard plastic. The rubber is just going to deteriorate. Instructions illustration is not really clear as far as the washer options/placement.

    This is a very high quality faucet. It replaced a 3/8″ faucet which I preferred for the much higher flow rate but it rusted out really bad and I couldn’t find a quality 3/8″ replacement. The on/off knob is extremely smooth, the provided gasket and crush fitting was very nice to have. Other than having to go get a 3/8 to 1/4 quick connect adapter, I didn’t need anything else. The quality of the box the faucet came in was actually very nice as well. Usually you get these from apecwateroutlet.com in a plastic bag, or rattling around in some cheap dented box with some foam in it, but this came in a product formed box which didn’t allow anything to move or rattle around. You can clearly see that the company who created this product thought about delivering a quality, long lasting piece of equipment. I honestly thought it was a bit pricey for what it is, but now that I have it I’m glad I spent the extra $5-$10 on it, totally worth it. Please note that this is NOT for air gap, I had already converted mine but I recommended this product to a friend and they had to order air gap conversion pieces.

Was pleased with the weight and quality. A few large manufacturers that you find on all the store shelves make one but they are 3 times the cost of this one and I preferred the way this one looks.

    Bought like new for $10. Works great. My old handle was an older style handle which I had to manually hold or push up or down for water to come out. It was not easy to install though no fault of the product. If you buy the correct tool (their long wrench) this would save you some effort and time. I had small wrenches and pliers on hand but because of the space under my sink, could only turn the nut less than a quarter turn for each turn.

    This faucet is exactly as described. Brushed nickel is a very close match to our brushed stainless main faucet on sink.
    It is 1/4″ thread (NPT) that connects to water filter. I did not need any adaptors. My installation was very difficult due
    to limited space under sink. No room to turn nuts to tighten fittings. I had to direct my younger son to get his hands
    into these tight spaces. Worked perfectly, no leaks smooth operation. The spout was a bit wobbly. Tried to tighten,
    no difference. Called customer service, they are very helpful and immediately agreed to free replacement parts. I have
    not received parts yet, but will update once I have installed new parts.

    I’ve had APEC water filtration systems in several homes. I recently changed my main faucet and wanted the filtered water dispenser to match it, so I purchased this one. The box instructions were HORRIBLE. Long story, but I ended up calling APEC customer service and explained the situation. They said they’d have someone contact me. A month later, IT STILL HASN’T HAPPENED. After a few days of silence, I noticed a faucet similar on apecwateroutlet.com. It was $10 more, but with great instructions, including a video. I returned this faucet and I’m so glad I did. The second one I bought was a much better quality. I gave it two stars only because I love the water filtration system.
